As our community rebuilds from the devastation of the Almeda Fire, young people need a place where they feel safe, supported, and inspired to dream big. As rebuilding continues and families move back to the district, Phoenix Elementary will need to reclaim space within its building, currently occupied by Boys & Girls Club of the Rogue Valley.
Now is the time for the Club to look ahead to ensure youth have a place to go once school is out.
This new Clubhouse is a symbol of what’s possible when a community invests in its youth. It will be a vibrant space for connection, confidence, and opportunity, where the next generation can grow, thrive, and imagine a bright future.
Since 2022, Membership has more than doubled.

OUr Campaign: Build a Safe and Positive Place
for our Kids to Belong
Building a new Clubhouse on Colver Road will provide the ONLY affordable after-school and out-of-school option for the 2,500 youth in the Phoenix-Talent Schools. It’s a pathway to a safe place every day after school so that parents can contribute to the community’s workforce and their family’s income.
Our new Club will:
Serve 225 youth every day after school
Serve 600 youth each year through after-school and summer programming for kids k-12
500 hours of homework help
70,000 snacks and meals
With this campaign, we can build our youth a safe place to belong with two initiatives:

Hand in Hand with Phoenix-Talent Schools
Phoenix-Talent Schools has donated 2.5 acres on Colver Road for the future home of Boys & Girls Club, transforming shared values into lasting impact. The new 25,000-square-foot Clubhouse will be situated alongside the district’s athletic fields, creating a connected campus designed to support youth during and beyond the school day. This partnership expands opportunities for students and Club members alike, maximizing space, resources, and impact for the entire community.

When you invest in the Club, your return on investment for your community is ten-fold. A study commissioned by Boys & Girls Clubs of America found that every dollar invested in Boys & Girls Clubs returns $9.60 in current and future earnings, as well as cost-savings, to our communities. Clubs help increase the earning power of parents, as well as of youth when they become adults. They also contribute to major savings for society by helping to prevent costly expenditures for health care, public assistance programs, and criminal justice system involvement and incarceration.
