The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley’s Hall of Fame honors individuals, families, and community champions whose leadership, service, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our Club and the youth we serve. Through this recognition, we celebrate those who embody the values of leadership, integrity, service, and commitment to creating Great Futures.
Alumni Achiever Award
Who it’s for:
Former Club members who have excelled in their careers, education, community service, athletics, or the arts.
Criteria:
Demonstrated leadership and integrity
Made a positive impact in their community or professional field
Maintains a connection to the Club (encouraged, but not required)
Champion of the Club Award
Who it’s for:
Volunteers, donors, businesses, or community partners who have made exceptional contributions to the Club.
Criteria:
Significant financial, volunteer, or advocacy support
Demonstrated commitment to the Club’s mission
Positive influence on youth and the community
Legacy Award
Who it’s for:
Individuals or families whose long-term involvement has created a lasting legacy within the Club.
Criteria:
Long-term engagement with the Club (typically 10+ years)
Contributions that created meaningful and lasting change
Family or community influence that reflects Club values
Hall of Fame Induction Process
Nominations
Nominations are open to Club staff, Board members, alumni, and community members.
Selection Committee
A Selection Committee made up of staff, Board members, past honorees (when applicable), and potentially a youth representative will review all nominations. Inductees are selected through consensus or majority vote.
Executive Committee Review
Prior to final selection, the Executive Committee will be informed of nominees to identify any potential conflicts of interest. Final decision-making authority remains with the Selection Committee.
Annual Recognition
Hall of Fame inductees will be honored annually during the Youth of the Year celebration.
Permanent Recognition
Inductees will receive ongoing recognition through digital and physical displays, including the Club website, social media, newsletters, and other Club communications.
