Our Mission
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley is to provide year-round positive, fun and safe places for all youth, helping them to build self-esteem and develop skills necessary to make right choices, and become responsible, productive citizens.
Since 1970, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley has served thousands of Southern Oregon youth each year through diverse programs in these key areas:
- CLUBS – Youth in grades K-12 have access to after-school and summer programming Monday through Friday at our three Club locations: Grants Pass, Cave Junction and Talent. Our goal is to ensure youth have a safe and positive place to be during out of school times. Programs and activities are focused in five core areas of youth development: The Arts; Education & Career Development; Sports, Fitness & Recreation; Character & Leadership Development and Health & Life Skills.
- TEAM SPORTS – Organized leagues in Volleyball, Flag Football, and Basketball provide youth opportunities to learn and improve skills, teamwork and sportsmanship in a fun, “fair-play” atmosphere.
- ALTERNATIVE LEARNING CENTER – Located at the Cleveland Boys & Girls Club in Grants Pass, this is an alternative school for District 7 middle school students who need a change from their regular campus setting.
