February has been full of exciting activities, and some of the most meaningful experiences have been in the daily activities created to celebrate Black History Month. At the beginning of the month, we introduced Black History Month with quotes and stories from those who have paved the way in leadership and bravery. Riley took the story of Ruby Bridges to heart and not only expressed compassion towards Ruby, she drew her photos and wrote her a letter that reads "Ruby, I wish you could come to my school."
