Programs in this core area enable our Youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, crafts, performing arts and creative writing.
National Fine Arts Exhibit Program
This year-round program encourages artistic expression among Club members through drawing, painting, collage, mixed media and other projects. Our members have the opportunity to submit their original artwork, have it judged and possibly selected for the National Fine Arts Exhibit which is displayed throughout the year at Boys & Girls Club of America events.
DramaMatters Afterschool is a drama education program for Clubs that encourages members to engage in hands-on activities, such as writing, practicing and performing plays and songs for other Club members and their families.
Our Music Club allows for our members to bring their musical instruments into the Club and collaborate with one another to learn new notes and to practice together.
Dance is a great form of personal expression and a wonderful form of exercise. Our Dance Club is designed to encourage our kids to learn new techniques, listen to music and have fun!
